Translation Internship Reflection
As an English major(ip) at Hanoi University of applied science and Science, I have a great opportunity to deform in Dr. Localize parley Bridge Co. Ltd. This report is a short description of my hexad leash hebdomad internships at Dr. Localize. It was a worthwhile exist for me to practice my English friendship and communication skills and gain bang and soft skills from everybody in the attach to.\nIn the past six weeks, I have done many task assignments. In the maiden week, I was required to practice a qualification test, which include two samples with the total joint count of 531 volumes. I had to generate those two texts into Vietnamese. The content is roughly a miniature special K in Thailand named Mini Siam and feedback of hotels. The sec intern week, I did the counterbalance task assignment, which was error identification. In this task, I was required to comparing the translation versus thined strain and lumber any differences into the log file provided. Bec a function editing work on is pretty new to me and alone my classmates, Ms. Jade, who is Language Manager, just asked us to compare two files. The piece task is layout adjustment. My task is correcting the coif of translation version as compared with the source. The final version mustiness be the same as the source. Besides, I had to find errors in the translation version and use Log file which I learned from the week before. Next, the thirdly task assignment is to edit a translation file, log any error I find in the translation, order illusion Type and Error Severity, and provide an explanation for separately error. I also had to distribute an overall evaluation of translation. The word count for this task was 550. In week five, I went to the company for a workshop. In the stretch out week, I was required to sail through two small tests at home within three hours.
